These terms apply to booking and taking part in the rides offered by Cabalgatas Santa Monica in Cerritos, Pereira. By booking, you accept these conditions.

1. The service

A guided horseback ride of about 2 hours across the hacienda, passing through pastures, lookouts over the Cauca river valley, the old train tracks and the riverbank, with a guide.

2. Rates and hours

$125.000 per horse for 2 people.
$110.000 per horse for 3 people or more.
The ride runs with a minimum of 2 people.
We have capacity for 17 horses.
Hours: you choose, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m..

Rates may change; the applicable price is confirmed at the time of booking.

3. Booking and payment

Tell us your preferred date and we confirm availability.
To secure your booking you transfer the 30% deposit of the total by bank transfer or deposit to our Bancolombia account. We share the account details once we confirm availability.
The remaining 70% is paid on the day of the ride.

4. Cancellations and changes

We understand that plans change. If you need to move your date or cancel, let us know as early as you can and we will gladly try to reschedule your ride for another available date. As a rule the deposit is kept toward your new date and, depending on the case, we may consider a refund. We handle each situation in a close, flexible way. If we have to cancel (for example, for safety or weather), we reschedule at no cost or refund the deposit.

5. Weather

If weather conditions make it unsafe to ride, we reschedule at no cost for the next available date.

6. Safety and responsibility

Horseback riding is an outdoor recreational activity that carries inherent risks. Before starting, each rider -or the responsible adult, in the case of minors- signs an informed consent about the risks of horseback riding. By taking part, each rider does so voluntarily and agrees to:

Follow the guide's instructions at all times.
Wear closed shoes and clothing suitable for riding.
Tell us about any health conditions, pregnancy or relevant limitations before the ride.
Not take part under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances.

The minimum age to ride alone is 6 years. Younger children may ride with their mom or dad on the same horse, at no extra cost. The guide may stop or adjust the ride for reasons of safety or animal welfare.

7. Animal welfare

We care for our horses. We ask that you treat them respectfully throughout the ride.
